TeaZa and its tobacco-free initiative, Operation Tobacco Free (OTF) announced on World No Tobacco Day the results of a sponsored 18-week tobacco de-addiction pilot study launched in August 2016 in the rural village of Naga Valadia in Gujarat, India and conducted by Project RISHI at the University of Southern California (USCPR).¹  The study demonstrates that using TeaZa Tobacco-Free Pouches is now proven effective by independent research to be an effective way to quit chewing tobacco.

According to a USCPR white paper, 40% of study participants reported as much as 66% decreased tobacco use while using TeaZa Tobacco-Free Pouches, and 10% of study participants reported they completely quit using tobacco products altogether while using TeaZa.²
